“We first discovered Coldstone Shorelines in 2020 when we hired them to revitalize a neglected shoreline on our new Mississippi River property. Although we were unfamiliar with this type of project, we had seen examples of Ben’s work and decided to trust his expertise. I’ll always remember what Ben said when we first met: ‘There’s no money in repairing my work, so I do it right the first time.’ The result was truly outstanding; we were so impressed that we knew we would recommend him to others and would work with him in the future.
In 2022, we began discussions with Ben about designing a fire pit area. After much patience on his part, we finalized a concept, and in 2023, we let his creative vision take shape. The result was a stunning fire pit area that exceeded our expectations.”

“The entry to our home is a circle driveway that has never been paved. After we moved in, we discovered that it was often thick mud in the fall and spring, and became a dangerous, very rutted path in the winter. Ben at Coldstone created a lovely bluestone slab patio that provides a safe, easy transition from the driveway to the house. Although we intended that people would park there for a smooth walkway into the house, we find that the stone is so pretty, people often won’t park there because they don’t want to ‘ruin it’. It’s now been in place for nearly a decade, and still looks great!
It was a pleasure to work with Ben. He completed the project in the specified time and within our agreed budget, and even used his equipment to help us move some huge boulders around the driveway. The finished product works exactly as we hoped - eliminating the mud and rutted ice that made the entry so treacherous, and making snow removal much easier.
